As Christmas comes around again it's that time of year when I start to consider what I would like to hang from my Christmas tree or what theme or colour palette to choose.

Decorations are often a treasured part of Christmas that we add pieces to year after year. I have lots of metal and fabric decorations in my personal collection, some from past collaborations I have done with luxury decoration company Tinker Tailor based in London.

One of the decorations in my collection is my Peacock design which was produced as a metal decoration. I was delighted when this was bought and stocked in Liberty. Here are a few photos of the product in store. The Peacock was also stocked in Fortnum & Mason.

English Heritage

English Heritage have stocked a selection of my greeting cards for a few years at various sites across the UK. This all began with a specially commissioned brief to design four cards and tree decorations in collaboration with Tinker Tailor, who produce embroidered, beautifully crafted tin decorations amongst many other hand finished decorations. I worked with Tinker Tailor previously on Christmas tree decorations for Highgrove.

I was asked to design four cards for these English Heritage sites, Stonehenge, Kenwood House, Dover Castle and Osborne House.

Cotswold Collections Ltd

I am delighted to share with you that for a second year running I have been working with the lovely buying team at Cotswold Collections to create a bespoke Christmas card box pack full of my illustrated cards.

Last year sales went really well and so 2019 has seen the launch of 4 of my designs, the Hare, Pheasant, Fox and Badger in a beautiful British Wildlife box pack.

The samples I created were whisked off to Italy where Cotswold Collections photograph all of their luxury clothing, creating lifestyle shots, this time my cards are in focus with some very cosy pyjamas.

I hope we have another great year for my boxed cards and customers love them!

I look forward to working with the team again, on something summery for 2020.

Create & Craft TV

I am so excited to announce that I am launching my first design collection live on TV with Create and Craft TV on July 4th. I have licensed 12 designs from my 'In The Wild' greeting card range, just some of these below.

The shopping channel have created card making kits and stamps paired with a range of sentiments with which the customer can build up layer upon layer of papers, with backgrounds and foreground elements extracted from my designs. The collection will be called ' A Stroll Through Nature'.

My first show is scheduled for 9am and I appear again at 5pm at the Ideal Shopping Direct studio based in Peterborough. I'm no stranger to live television having spent some time on QVC several years ago, but this will be quite a different experience altogether. I will be illustrating live on air and talking about my inspiration for my ranges, so you will be able to see me at work, drawing those never ending dots I'm so accustomed to.

If you are a stranger to Create & Craft, often the end use for the card making kits are for philanthropic ventures, where the crafter can create 100 versions of each different card to sell, often raising funds for good causes, so this art with a heart.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that my first collection will be a hit with the crafting audience and perhaps the channel will continue to work with me on future collections, as a Christmas range would be great to do too.

Fay's Studio - Celebrating 10 years!

There's no better way to beat the January blues than with a fresh burst of designs to brighten the grey days and with Spring Fair International just around the corner I am just in time to show you the new cards I've been working on.

What's more this February it will be my 10th appearance at Spring Fair, so that's a reason to sing and dance about. We'll be at Stand 3W50 with all of the cards and brand new mounted prints for you to peruse.

I've been illustrating away and adding to my 'In The Wild' collection for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter and below are also some reminders of my Mother's Day and Easter cards...

So, thank you for sticking around for the past decade and watching my business develop and change over the years, it's been a blast!
